Projectors - Blu-ray Forum - forum.blu-ray.com
Here's the deal, I'm on a tight budget. My wife has had enough of our home theater being in our great room. She's ok with the 52" but not the audio, and definitely not losing the TV every time I want to watch Hockey or a movie. This of course relegates her to the bedroom, which she's not a fan and I don't blame her.

I'd like to spend less than $1000 bucks on a projector and screen/wall area for the basement, and I'd like to buy new. The question is, is it worth it? Is a projector in the $700 dollar range worth buying?

I plan on gaming on it, and watching movies/sports. No TV. I think 720p would suffice as well.

Or would recommend I move by 52" bravia down stairs, and replace it with another LCD for the great room?
