YouTube taking over your TV

I'm not fan of online video to the point I avoid it at most costs. As such I have avoided YouTube to a large degree even when it came to my TV. I would occasionally view a Craig Ferguson bit however the other day I was looking to kill a few minutes and ran across TheStradman. Not really a car guy (had a few nice ones in the day) but I find the kid so entertaining I find myself deleting a few DVR recordings to catch some of this earlier works.

One of the reasons I haven't bothered is it feels like there are millions of videos without any good way finding what you'll enjoy. I know in the past I would view something and had zero interest in everything else that "popped up" I presume there are a few sites that review, index or whatnot most of the popular content?
