Receiver for Dolby Atmos under 1k

Receivers, Amps, and Processors - www.avsforum.com
I'm looking for a receiver that will allow me to do Dolby Atmos with the 2 height channels that is under 1K, 7.1.2 I think?. That means I am looking for a receiver that is 9.2? I am finishing my basement and it looks like to go full Atmos I need to spend at least 1.5K on a receiver and I'd really like to be under 800. I won't have too many inputs, probably just a couple of game systems and a blu-ray player. I prefer to stay with one of the more common brands that could be found at your typical Best Buy, though I doubt that is where I will buy it. (Sony, Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon, Pioneer?) I just want to buy from a manufacturer where I won't have to worry about warranty issues. Right now I'm looking at the Denon AVRX4300H, are there any other suggestions? It sounds like I should stay away from Onkyo because of HDMI issues? I would like it to be able to do 4k, though I don't plan on buying a 4K projector, I will probably go with the Sony HW45ES.
