Bass Management with passive subwoofer

Subwoofers, Bass, and Transducers - www.avsforum.com
I just built a passive subwoofer and I am using the Behringer Inuke 1000 as the amplifer. I have a Denon 3806 that has bass management. the Behringer also has different modes for this. There are two switches on the Behringer- 'Mode' with 3 positions- Bridge, Stereo, Mono and 'Crossover' which has 2 positions- Full Range and HF, LF. Since the amp is solely powering the Sub I assume that I should set it to Bridge Mode so that full power is going to the Sub and LF so that only the low frequencies go the the sub. My question is this: Given that the Denon 3806 also has bass management, would it be better to use the bass management on the 3806 or disable the bass management on the 3806 and use the aforementioned settings on the Behringer? Or both? Or would this be redundant? Yes I have read the manual and have not found any info specific to a passive sub. if anyone wants to tell me exact settings, that would be great as I am limited for time and would like to get this up and running asap. Thanks for your help.
