Gaming & Movie Theater in New House's Finished Basement
My wife and I just purchased our first home (5bed/3.5bath) that has a finished basement. The home is only a four-year-old construction, and the basement is the perfect size for a home theater. I will go ALL OUT and spend bookoo bucks in 3-5 years, but for now, I'm looking at a setup--including installation--under $5,000. I already have the Denon AVRX1400H. Here are the pieces I'm looking at, and would greatly appreciate advice, suggestions, and or confirmation on my direction. Thank you kindly and talk soon.
Projector: BenQ HT3050 (with ceiling mount)
Screen: Silver Ticket STR-169120
Receiver: Denon AVR-S510BT
In-Wall Surround L & R: Fluance AVBP2
Center Speaker: Klipsch RP-250C or Cerwin Vega SL45C
Tower Speakers Front: SVS Prime or Klipsch RP-280FA
Sub: SVS PB2000 or Gallo CLS-10 or Klipsch R-115SW
I will be console gaming on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, as well as using a nVidia Shield Pro TV for Netflix and Vudu, and a DirecTV box for sports and shows. The pre-installation plan is for the receiver and all devices to be housed in a closet in the basement stairs; all wiring will feed into the basement ceiling, and snake on over to the closet. Cheers!
