Speaker Layout Suggestions

General Home Theater & Media/Game Rooms - www.avsforum.com
Hi all, I have reading this board for many years and have gotten some great ideas from you guys. However, I am trying to get ideas for adding surround and maybe atmos speakers to my work-in-progress room. My layout is odd in that I have a half-wall on one side and windows in the rear, so I am having a hard time deciding where to mount the surrounds (or rear or both). Currently I am just running the LCR and my sub. This is my first attempt at projection using a sony 45ES and a Seymour 120" AT screen. I mounted my monitor audio CP Silvers (the totally enclosed models) behind the screen in the wall and it sounds fantastic. I am usually the opposite, wanting stands away from the wall and such, but this experiment was worth the effort. I have attached a few pics of the room and am open to any suggestions. I am not opposed to in-wall or in-ceilings, but the walls are insulated and which makes it more of a pain to run wires, but the ceiling is open above. The room is approximately 16x16 in the general seating area, but probably close to 20ft from my media cabinet to the half-wall. The sofa is only about 12" from the back wall. The pics really don't relay the scale very well. The media cabinet is about 7' long, and the sofa and chair seating areas are 13-14 ft from the screen. Any suggestions appreciated.
