Appropriate Fuse Value?

Speakers - AudioKarma.org Home Audio Stereo Discussion Forums - www.audiokarma.org
Well, those .2A fuses just saved me $160 in repairs. My girlfriend was messing around with the out put of her laptop that I have connected to my Phono2 inputs. A little voltage spike and then ... silence. I don't recall what logic I used when I selected those fuses and thought someone here may have a good idea as to what will allow sufficient energy to pass through for sound quality and still protect the drivers from an accidental spike.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Lee
