Amplifier Recommendation for Kef 104/2?

For the last four years, I've been using a pair of Kef 102/2s I inherited from my folks with an HK3490 stereo receiver. Overall, it's been a terrific setup for a smaller, library/living space. And to my ears, the sound has been really pleasant. Don't have any complaints.
Just recently purchased a pair of 104/2s off Craiglist that were fully serviced by Midwest Speaker here in MSP two years ago. (So, I'm going to assume they're ready to go. Just need an amplifier to drive them.) Wanting to use these as part of a "two channel entertainment space" in a corner of my basement (16" x 25"). So they'll be used for music listening and TV/movie watching. Think I'm looking for: - Aiming for ~100 WPC - Subwoofer Out (have my eye on SVS SB-2000 (that will be down the road) - Optical Inputs (connection to Samsung TV, Apple TV) - Streaming capability and USB would be nice to have. I've been reading a lot about the Yamaha S801. Looks great at first glance. But I read on various forums that the sound is "bright." Don't know what that means. HK doesn't make the 3490 anymore, and it's replacement, the HK3770, doesn't get great reviews. (Plus, if I'm honest – seems weird that a company would produce so few hi-fi components vs. consumer electronics, etc.) Makes me wonder if they're serious about the category or not. Also aware of Marantz, NAD, and other established brands – but don't have any experience with them. SA9005 doesn't seem to have optical or subwoofer. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks!
