Audio Test Tones

Speakers - www.avsforum.com
Does anyone have any test tones for optimizing surround speaker distance and level? I use audyessy however my surround speakers are not in an ideal location being 12.5 feet from the MLP on the back wall and the fronts are 10.4 feet from the MLP. I can’t move the speakers because all of my speakers are in-walls. I do not own a SPL meter so pink noise alone will not help me and I do not no how to use one. I have read that the gold line 5.1 toolkit has something but $300 for one test tone is kind of pricey. I wish we had a forum for sound calibration like we do for video Calibration other than the Audyessy threads.

Thanks,

Dave
