Some Bluetooth Speaker Help
New to the audio section and I need some input. I have a stereo setup out in my shop and I wish to have some portable outside speakers outside that I can move around as I work on different projects up to 150' around the property. (I have portable power everywhere.) I have looked at the Bluetooth setups but don't feel I fully understand how it works. Apparently, I can plug a BT transmitter into my one of the stereo output jacks at the amplifier and then use a BT receiver (both of same brand) at the other end to pickup the BT signal. Then plug a small amp into the BT receiver; then plug a couple of speakers (or soundbar) into the amp. I have questions:
1) Is my described understanding accurate, as far as it goes, or have I missed/leftout something?
2) If it is accurate, what BT Transmitter/Receiver brands will suffice for my needs?
3) Since I have only one set of speakers/soundbar to drive, I'm assuming a small 20/30W amp will do the job (?) Any brands (for outside use) would work well?
4) I have absolutely no experience with outdoor speakers and would appreciate any thoughts and recommendations offered.
I'm planning to mount all the components on a wheeled cart to move it around the property to keep me entertained while I slave away at the ditch digging.
