Do deviations from a pure rectangular room impact the room bass modes?

Audio theory, Setup and Chat - www.avsforum.com
When it come to bass room modes, do deviations from a pure rectangular room impact the room modes in a positive or negative way.

For example, our basement media room has several deviations from pure rectangular, necessitated by building walls and ceilings around duct work, plumbing, etc. The ceiling drops down around a foot in about 1/4th of the ceiling area. There are a couple wall areas that are bumped out 18” or so. There is a half wall separating the theater and bar areas. There is a wall area that is bumped in a couple feet too.

So, I’m curious if all these deviations from a rectangle would randomize room modes, or simply distribute them to different areas (or maybe do nothing).
