Some help on mixes and quantity
Not sure if this would be a better question answered by Ftoast or MM.
I got the ideas from one of Ftoast post in, paint mix for bright projector in dark room?.
I’m looking for some help on mixes and quantity of what to mix together. I already bought Rustoleum Sterling Silver and Glidden Flat Seal Grey (OONN25/000). I’ve also made a new 100” frame out of blackout cloth.
My projector is an Epson 8700UB that I’ve had for about 7 years and just put a new bulb in. The screen is a 100” fixed frame Elite but I don’t remember what material or the gain, it’s just a flat white. The projector lens to the screen measures in at only 10’ 4” and the seating is about 9 feet from the screen.
I’ve always been unhappy with the screen. Having the projector that close to the screen is to bright and the reflection off the ceiling is pretty bad. It’s in a basement and is light controlled but the ceiling is flat white (can’t change that) and the walls are a flat mustard yellow.
Unfortunately due to the weather I will have to roll the mix on the blackout cloth. If it works out I will spray the mix on the old screen in the spring.
Thanks in advance for the help and open to any suggestions,
