I'm late to the game, but what happened to Panasonic FCs?

Solid State | Audiokarma Home Audio Stereo Discussion Forums - audiokarma.org
I usually buy all of my needed components from Mouser, then Digikey if I can't find the values at Mouser. I generally use Panasonic FC caps in the power supply section and Elna Silmic II in the audio section.

I'm rebuilding a power supply board for a Rotel receiver that I have and saw that I didn't have quite enough 1uF 50v FCs in my stock to do the board so I jumped on Mouser to get more. To my surprise they didn't have any, nor Digikey. Even in the FM series.

Why did they stop making them? Now what should I be looking at in the future? I'd like to find another low ripple, 105c high quality cap. Should I move to Nichicon? Is there another Panasonic series as good as the FC?

Thanks,

Dan
