Klipsch RP 280F Subwoofer?
I am planning to build a home theater system. My room is 15x15 feet. I am majorly in to movies, and some occasional music, around 70:30. So to start with I am planning to setup a 2.1 and then build a 7.1 system ultimately. This is the setup i am planning
Denon X4300h AVR
Klipsch RP-280F Front speakers
I have 3 questions.
1. Is it better to go for RP-280Fa or stick with RP-280F and consider buying separate atmos speakers? The only difference i saw is the built in atmos for RP-280FA. What is the advantage to the built in atmos channel in the RP-280FA? Is it really worth the additional 200$? the additional atmos speakers Rp-140A costs around 500$ a pair.
2. Would these speakers require sub woofers considering the room size and the fact that they have a built in 8" woofer. Can i do away with sub woofers?
If I really need one, I am looking at SVS PB 1000 or Klipsch 112SW or BIC PL200. I am inclined towards Klipsch assuming it would be a better match with speakers? Please advice
3. Would it be better to go for 2.1 setup first or 3.0 setup with a center speaker. I will ultimately setup 5.1, but which would be an absolute must to start with? For center speaker i am considering Klipsch RP-450C
Appreciate your advice
