Need advice on replacement for Denon AVR-2112CI

Receivers, Amps, and Processors - www.avsforum.com
I now have a 4K tv and I want to upgrade my AVR-2112CI to a receiver that can handle 4K inputs. I'd like something more or less equivalent to the 2112 (but with 4K support). My existing system has a set of 5.1 speakers and four HDMI inputs. I'd like something as much less than $500 that satisfies these requirements.

Atmos might be nice to play around with but not essential. I don't have any upward-pointing speakers. Not sure how essential that is to gain the benefits of Atmos.

The Denon AVR-S730H seems like a possible option, at $480, but I'd like to do better pricewise, if I'm not giving up too much. Is there anything in the $300 to $400 range that satisfies what I want?

I'll also add:

1. Inputs are an HTPC, Roku (4K capable), Blu-ray, Chromecast (currently connected directly to the TV). Gaming system a possibility in the future.

2. Power - something comparable to the 2112

3, 4. Immersive audio is a nice-to-have but not critical

5. Would like room correction

6, 7. Don't care about networking and wireless.

8. Analog/2-channel - no

9. Remote - IR-based. I have a Harmony that does everything I need, so I don't need fancy support from the receiver.
