New Speakers and Impedance Help
I currently have all 8 ohm impedance speakers for my 5.1 setup--BIC America fronts and center, and Polk S20s for the rear.

I am a relative newby when it comes to a/v and I would like to know, in a 7.1 configuration, my front, center and surround speakers are all 8 ohm as is my receiver. The powered sub that I have is 6ohm. Will this work with the rest of the system, or do I need to buy a new sub?
