NTSC problem - VCR Toshiba (NTSC/NTSC-Pb) and Panasonic EH-68
I have a video tape recorded in NTSC.
I connected the VCR Toshiba V642-UK to the TV and the picture/sound is correct regardless of whether I set the Toshiba NTSC-playback on PAL TV or NTSC 4.43.
So I connected the Toshiba to the Panasonic DMR-EH585 recorder and problems began.
If I set the recorder in NTSC mode, then I have a black and white image. If I set it to PAL mode, I have a color image, but with a large horizontal black bar at the bottom of the screen.
Identical effects are when I connect the Panasonic DMR-EH68 instead of the EH-585.
Where can the problem lie?
I would like to add that the menu of the recorder always appears correctly. It looks like there are some problems with the NTSC image input at the SCART input.
There are no problems with PAL cassettes at all.
