Old receiver with 4K TV Help

General Home Theater & Media/Game Rooms - www.avsforum.com
Hi I currently have a HTPC with receiver and 1080p TV. So it's PC video card - HDMI cable - Anthem MRX 300 receiver (with pass through). Then from Anthem MRX 300 receiver - hdmi to TV.

I am upgrading to a 4K tv but do not believe the Anthem MRX300 will pass the 4K information to the TV. Is it possible to run two cables out of the video card in the HTPC? Maybe one DisplayPort to HDMI cable from video card to 4K TV and one HDMI cable from video card to receiver?

I don't want to spend another grand for a perfectly good receiver to be able to play 4K content. I am looking at the LG OLED C7 TV. I understand you can do optical out from the TV to receiver, but that wont support HD audio? Thanks in advance!
