I'm selling a McIntosh 4100. It's in very good condition and includes a new cabinet. My asking price is $900.
Does my asking price seem reasonable?
Help needed Biasing a Mcintos MAC 4100
I'm trying to bias my McIntosh MAC 4100. The service Manual says to Adjust operate the MAC 4100 at 120 V with no signal. Measure the AC Line input power (Approx 40 watts) etc. etc. Can someone shed some light on where I should be making this measurement? The specifics are on page 9.
Mcintosh 4100 Phono Stage MC capable?
Anyone know if you can use an MC cartridge with the onboard phono stage for the 4100 amp? I've used it for years with a MM but was thinking about trying something else. Not interested in a preamp so if it can't be done i'll just stick with what works- thanks a ton for input!
McIntosh C32 or McIntosh MA-6100
Have a Local seller and would like to know which 1 to buy? Under $600 for either. All working and in Very Nice shape. WoodCase with MA-6100 I have a 1900 and 4100...Why not add another 1.

Value of McIntosh Mac 4100 receiver vs separates
I have been looking at McIntosh gear. It seems like a good entry point is the Mac 4100. I have seen these going in the $900+ price range. Is this reasonable? How much should I expect to pay for the equivalent MA6200 and MR75 separates?
Speakers for McIntosh 4100
Any suggestions for a great pair of speakers to go with the McIntosh 4100? I was given a 4100 and had it completely serviced at an authorized McIntosh Service Center, they say it should be good for another 30 years. I'm starting from scratch, this is the first piece, What speakers would you folks...
I have the opportunity to inherit one of these pretty soon. I know nothing about it other than reading the manuals and I come from a marantz background. Any tubes in it, how hard would a recap be compared to the marantzes, etc.?
